Coolamon Shire’s main street, Cowabbie Street, is a state heritage listed precinct, and as you stroll down, you’ll be delighted by its charm.  Not a lot has changed along Cowabbie Street with much of the architecture reflecting a bygone era when Coolamon Shire was flourishing between the 1880s and 1920s and you’ll find many of the original churches, schools, stores and hotels with the same good old fashioned service.  The Central Gardens provide a wonderful space to wind down before discovering the shire’s history in one of four museums.
