Capture Coolamon Shire Photographic Competition and Exhibition - 3 to 26 November

The Competition is open to both professional and amateur photographers. All photos must be taken within the Coolamon Shire.

The competition includes both Youth and Open sections and cash prizes awarded across the five Categories, including the $1000 Prize awarded to the image that ‘Best Depicts the Shire’

The Categories include:
- Landscape
- Built Environment
- Nature
- Portrait/People Study
- Events, Sport and Festivals

Cost: Open entries $10  |  Youth entries $5

Entry: Entry form must be completed. Entries close Friday 20 October 2017. The entry form and Terms and Conditions will provide steps and information about entering. 

New for 2017: This year the entry cost will include printing your submitted photo/s. Entrants are required to submit an electronic file and the committee will arrange printing of the photo. This will allow for an easy entry process. Photos will be printed on high quality photo paper by professional printers.

Join us at the opening night and be the first to see the 2017 entries. Opening Night is Friday 3 November 2017 at the Coolamon Up-to-Date Store at 6:30pm. 

Early bird tickets available for $10, purchase from the Coolamon Library prior to the opening night. Tickets available at the door for $15. Youth (17 and under) are free. 


The Exhibition will be on display at the Coolamon Up-to-Date Store from Saturday 4 November to Sunday 26 November 2017 between 10am and 4pm. Please note the Exhibition will be closed on Monday’s.
