Australia Day long weekend is a great opportunity to explore Coolamon Shire, with formal celebrations taking place in Marrar.

This years Australia Day Ambassador is James Pittar who represented Australia in swimming and rowing as a disabled athlete and has been included in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame

On the day, there will be a free community BBQ breakfast from 8am and an Official Australia Day Ceremony (10am), where local citizens will be recognised for their valued contributions to the community.
